Craft For Causes

Business Summary

Summer of 2017 was a big year for this organization. Why, well it was their first year. If you’re a business owner, or run any type of organization you understand the importance of your first year, and how awkward it can be. Working with Craft for Causes was a unique experience for use, but we were able to provide incredible results despite this being their inaugural year.
Craft for For Causes is a not for profit organization that brings together the live music industry, and beer industry to raise money for various non organizations across the country. This year, the organization toured with the Tedeschi Trucks Band, and visited over 40 breweries across the nation. Each brewery created a unique craft beer for the two and organization. For every beer sold. Half of the proceeds was donated to the Holland's Opus Foundation.

Our Objective:
It was extremely important to build a following both on Facebook, and Instagram for this organization. Both the craft beer, and music industry are extremely active on Facebook, and Instagram. We had a couple different objectives.

  • Organically build a national following on Facebook, and Instagram.Connect with Breweries across the nation to build brand awareness.Get people to attend the launch event in ABQ New Mexico through the Facebook Event Page.Create content before, during, and after the tour.

Since Craft for Causes is a new organization we relied on creating our own content, and utilize the content from the partnered bands, and breweries. Because the 40+ breweries had tons of their own content we curated tons of what they were posting, to generate an organic following both on Facebook, and Instagram. On Facebook during the during the tower we had an average engagement rate of 10%, and on Instagram it was on average engagement rate was around 5%.
For Facebook we started with 0 followers and in three months grew that to 785 followers. On Instagram we started with 0 followers and in 3 months grew the following to 1,500.
